Call for submitting mystery slides from the nervous system

Dear Esteemed ECVP and ESVP Colleagues,

hold onto your microscope because the ECVP/ESVP Scientific Committee is spicing up the Madrid meeting with a Vespertine Neuropathology WISDOM Session, alongside to the regular mystery slide session. And yes, there will be drinks to fuel your brainpower, because who says solving brain mysteries can't be delicious? Our mission: Banish the pathologist's "pink desert" nightmares! Picture this – four cases presented by talented pathologists, followed by an international panel of brainy veterinary neuropathologists discussing them.

Now, here's where you come in. Share with us your brain teasers of challenging or mind-bending neuropathology cases in a single PDF file with your name, affiliation, contact email, a brief case history, and a summary of relevant gross and microscopic findings by June 17th. Don't forget to throw in some good quality images and send your mysteries from any species to: WISDOM_ECVP_ESVP_2024@gmx.ch. Be prepared to send glass slides off for scanning.
