Dr. Stephanie Melching-Kollmuss is a German and European Registered Toxicologist and working in the field of Toxicology since about 25 years. Since more than 15 years Stephanie works as a regulatory toxicologist for agrochemicals at BASF SE. Her research focus is on mixture toxicity and endocrine disruption. With regard to endocrine disruption, Stephanie is chairing the ECETOC Thyroid Task Force, and the Crop Life Europe Endocrine Disruptor Expert Group; since May 2023 she is a member of the ECHA Endocrine Disruptor Expert Group. She is coordinating research activities and assessment approaches in the field of thyroid toxicants in industry and more generally continuously working on the development and application of criteria for the identification of endocrine disruptors using in vivo and in vitro data.
