Kerstin Hahn works since 2020 at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. in Basel, Switzerland, as Toxicologic and Investigative Pathologist with focus on gene therapy and CNS targeting modalities. Kerstin Hahn received her doctoral grade in neurovirology as well as her PhD in neuroscience in 2015 by the University of Veterinary Medicine of Hannover. From 2015 to 2020 she worked as a comparative pathologist and post doctoral fellow in molecular oncology at the University of Bern, Switzerland and the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam. In 2017, Kerstin Hahn achieved her pathology specialization as diplomate of the European Colleague for Veterinary Pathologists. Her research focus is on the application of advanced pathology readouts as spatial transcriptomics and spatial proteomics to decipher disease and toxicology associated pathomechanisms. She works in close collaboration with different universities including the University of Bern, the Heidelberg University as well as the Center of Virology and Vaccine Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
