Description

Erio Barale-Thomas is a toxicologic pathologist with an expertise in advanced digital histoprocessing and pathology, helping to develop the tools of the future in digital pathology. At J&J Innovative Medicine, he leads, with IT, the digitalization of the histology and pathology departments, to better support the needs of data sciences, nonclinical toxicology and therapeutic areas. With ForVizio, his consultancy service, he participates to advanced digital histoprocessing and pathology projects external to J&J and that aim to further his vision.

Vision
Improving the workflow of toxicologic pathology by  increasing standardization in histology, implementing digital pathology, and bringing quantification to pathology evaluation.
Generalizing those tools to the discipline of anatomic pathology.
