Description

Alexandra Dütting graduated at the University of Münster (Germany) in 2012 with a B.Sc. in biology with focus on animal physiology and welfare as well as biochemistry and in 2016 as M.Sc. of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In the later she was involved in drug design and development, regulatory affairs, pharmacological testing, molecular modelling, as well as pharmacovigilance, and strategic management. She started working at Labcorp Early Development Services GmbH as a student assistant in 2013 where she was performing learning and memory tests via WGTA apparatus with cynomolgus monkeys for pre-clinical safety studies. In 2016, she was chosen as the lead candidate for the animal welfare manager position at Labcorp, where she compiled approval applications for NHP studies, interacting with authorities, study directors and scientific stakeholders in both the large pharma and biotech area. Alexandra currently holds the position of a study director since 2019 where she focuses on the area of neurobehavior and neuroscience, for example the implementation of the monkey-CANTAB, or direct delivery into the brain emerging oligonucleotide, and gene therapy studies.
